Judy Madden wrote that
she saw a similar quilt in a magazine in the Spring of 2000.
When the Friday Freeloaders decided to exchange birthday blocks
in 2001, she asked for 8" sampler blocks in her blue fabrics.
Throughout the year long project, she made the applique strips
and more blocks to add to her gift blocks. She received her "block
box" in November 2001 and finished the quilt in May 2002.
Judy Madden wrote thank you to Angie, Dena, Earlene, Kathy, Madalyn,
Mary Jo, Pam, Roxie and Yolanda for their blocks! 75 x 50
