Barbara Kinunen wrote
that she began this quilt in October 2001 and finished piecing
it in January 2002. In the 1970's Barbara and her husband lived
in Iran and the Middle East still holds a special fascination
for them. In choosing the colors for this quilt, Barbara Kinunen
wrote she was trying to capture the feel of their memories. Since
she is a beginning quilter, she kept the design a simple one.
Kinunen uses this quilt on their bed.
