Opening ceremonies were held Saturday at Norman Walker field officially opening the 2003 Little League baseball season. Players and coaches from the four different age group divisions were in attendance and decked out in their team colors.

Ketchikan City Mayor Bob Weinstein and Ketchikan Gateway Borough Mayor Mike Salazar opened the ceremonies by leading the teams and visitors in the pledge of allegiance.

May 3rd marked 100 years of baseball in Ketchikan.
