Carrs-Safeway Building New Gas Station

Ketchikan, Alaska - Carrs-Safeway is building a gas station on its parking lot near Westside Service. The main contractor is a Washington state based company, Granite Petroleum, who has hired local sub-contractors to build the new station.

The corrugated pipe, turned vertical in this photo, will then be placed in holes in the ground and filled with cement as foundations for the posts for the cover over the pump area.
The new Carrs-Safeway station will be located just across from Westside Service.
