Friends Of The Ketchikan Public Library Hold Annual Book Sale

The annual book sale is the big fundraiser for Friends of The Ketchikan Public Library and this annual event took place at the Plaza Mall this weekend.

Susan Fisher, Treasurer of Friends of the Library, said there was a very good turnout for the two day event and the annual book sale for 2002 was a success.

Our community needs and benefits from a first-rate library and Friends are interested in promoting the library by improving its services, resources, and community role.

Where Does The Money Come From
& Where Does It Go?

Funds come from membership dues, gifts, endowments, memorials, the annual book sale and the library book sale cart. Money is used for Friends' projects and for library needs outside the regular budget allowance.
