From ordinary men to bigger
than life stars, Hollywood has created heroes in all shapes and
sizes. Explore the hero myth through film in the University of
Alaska Southeast Ketchikan's VideoVersity Film Series this Spring.
Hollywood's Take On The Hero is also being offered as a one-credit
class! Students will discuss each film after the showing and
the class will culminate in a creative project.
The series kicks off on Saturday,
February 1st at 7:00 pm with Sci-Fi thriller "Aliens".
This sequel to the original portrays a strong female heroin Hollywood-style.
Stay after and discuss what you think! Join in the fun at the
UAS Campus Library for the DVD format and big screen action.
